After meeting Comptroller Liu at the BronxNet studio this morning, I discussed one of the oldest legal doctrines in our country: the doctrine of “Nuisance”. Whether its noise, odors, or even a tree limb, you have the right to enjoy your real property. If a tenant is preventing your enjoyment, then head to Landlord/Tenant court to seek injunctive relief.
