Today on “Open” I continued discussing “consumer fraud”, in particular, “financial fraud” and the internet. Afterall, how many times are you asked to “purchase” a stock on the internet. The best advice I can give, if you are looking to invest in a particular stock or venture, is to reach out to the company directly and ask to see research on “product development”. And don’t trust anyone to do the research for you, not even your broker! Next week I will continue the series, the topic: debit cards, and the financial pitfalls.
